Race Recap
Weather was Cloudy and 80 deg.

Mother Nature took care of watering the track this weekend with some steady showers in the mid afternoon. By race time, the weather was calm and humid with nearly perfect track conditions for a tacky track.

Winner's in the Dash 4 Cash

H&B's - 80J Jeremy Easterwood
Streets - 81 Danny Efird
Renegade Sprints - 518 Loren Wofford - 104.2 MPH Lap Average!!  New Track Record

The H&B Stocks were out first to break in the track in the Mains' and half of the field was wiped out in the turn 4 wall within the first half of the race. Tom Talley up front was hard to catch as the track came to them with Jon McDaniel right on his tail waiting for a mistake that didn't happen.

Next was the A/C Print Street Stock Shootout with a $ 1500.00 purse brought 17 drivers as far as Albuquerque and Lubbock.
Danny Efird started on the pole and never let up. He usually kept a 10 to 12 car lead on the pack. Kenny McCutcheon was hot on his tail in the first quarter of the race until a RR flat put him on the trailer. Witt Palm and Mike Cross came from the rear of the field along with Nick Rivera and Danny Hoffer. In the the last few laps Nick was really on the move and nearly got around Danny Efird, but had to settle for 2nd then later Nick was DQ'd for tire issues.

The Renegade Sprints were the featured event of the night with 18 cars on the field. John Carney Jr. in the 3S was unstoppable!
Loren Wofford was not far behind but even by lap 5 they were lapping cars. John Carney Jr., Loren Wofford and Kyle McCutcheon were turning the fastest lap times averaging near 100MPH. The leaders were looking for the sweetspot and found the top groove was the fastest! By lap 7, the 19 car of Wesley Wofford caught the edge of another car rear tire and sent him sailing up to the top of the track and over the edge in turn 3. His good driving skills saved the car from flipping and he spun out instead. After that they raced with no more cautions and John Carney Jr. took the big paycheck home.

Thank You to all the nights Patron's and Sponsor's for your support and Congratulations to the Winner's and we hope to see you for the Fourth Of July Spectacular Races, here, next Sat. Night with the Biggest Show of the Season!   Don't Miss It !!!!!!!!!!!!
