In the Main Event
The night started out with 20MPH winds from the SW and by dusk they settled to a steady 10MPH. The weather was great and the light breeze was taking the dust away from the stands. The track ended up a bit rough in the main, causing cars to be all over the track. It was a bit slick but drivers were using every line avalible to pass with up to 4 wide at times!
The H&B's came out with 10 cars in the field. By the end of the race only 6 cars were left standing and Fredrico Flores up front. No one could hang. With ease, he took the win.
Street Stocks were next with 14 cars on the track and only 11 finished. Billy McDaniel took win in the Dash 4 Cash and the main event.
The Legends of the Southwest were up next with only 6 cars ??? Turns out, most were on vacation at the time. Don Reynolds ran away from them in the Dash 4 Cash and the Main Event!
The Southwest Super Trucks had 18 racers in the field and only 10 finished. The drivers were really rough on each other. The Alberson Brother's were the show of the night. Brady started on the pole and kept his position for all except a few laps when Garrett came from mid field on the outside hanging it out hard. There was also a battle brewing, about lap 5 Walton Kyle Sr. had spun-out in turn 3-4. Sr and Jr. believed Kenny McCutcheon caused the spin so the retalliation started from there. For the next 5 laps, Sr., Jr. and Kenny were banging doors and beating into each other around causing all kinds of drama. In the end the Alberson brother's were running the high line and Brady pulled off the win!
Thanks to all who participated!!!!!!!!
